Using a video is always cool, but it felt like watching the history channel =P
I didn't understand some parts of the video when the man spoke in another language, either that or that man has a really strong accent. So I played the video a couple of times over, by "using your ears", I only caught the words "Beat generation" and "Kerouac". Other than that, I just picked that Kerouac wrote in the context of the audience, and so on.
Do you have any idea what the other man is talking about?
hahha ok JJ I'll get a better video next time. I just wanted you to get the gist of how the beatniks looked and sounded :) The other man is foriegn I suppose we're not suppose to really understand him. There's some more interesting videos, if you like Ill do another one.
